Oprah Winfrey dies from adoring fans

CHICAGO, Ill. - Oprah Winfrey a beloved acrtess, talk show host, public figure, sister, daughter and friend died yesterday in a tragic accident. She died around 3:30 yesterday, February 14th, 2008 after being soffocated by her adoring fans as she left her studio.

Oprah was born in Kosciusko, Mississippi. She had a rough childhood, after the age of 13 she lived with her father under his strict discipline but taught her at an early age learned how to accomplish her best. At the age of 17 she started her broadcating career when she was hired by WVOL in Nashville. Two years later she moved to Baltimore to be come a co-anchor, where she discovered her love for broadcasting. In 1986 the Oprah Winfrew show started becoming the number one talk show in less than a year.

She was a world renound women with many accomplishments under her belt. With her talk show she helped men and women alike, bringing awarness of many topics to the nation and gave an amazing example to women of every race. She helped bring awarness to millions on topics such as teen suicides and domestic violence. In 2007 she recieved the Humanitarian Award, 2005 she recived the NAACP Hall of Fame, and the National Association of Broadcasters. In the hight of her career Oprah opened her all girls school in Africa, this was her dream. With her contributions and service these girls will now be able to learn in a safe enviornment. She was an amazing example to us all and will be missed by all of her adoring fans.


She is survived by her partner, Stedman Graham, and many of her fans.

I nearly teared up reading this. I really hope Oprah doesn't die... very smooth! IF she did die, I'm sure she would want you to write her obituary. ;)
